The proposed state budget if passed, will be cutting off all funding towards the NC Office of Environmental Education. This includes the North Carolina Environmental Education Certification Program. This office and program trains educators on ways to educate others on environmental topics through hands on learning and community engagement. As an environmental educator myself, this is very sad and I urge Y’all to reach out to their representatives about this.
